Delivery times vary depending on the type of product purchased, as we only work with fresh products based on orders received, we do not have a warehouse in order to always guarantee maximum freshness and quality of the product; therefore we can entrust the order to the courier in 3/5 working days with delivery times that may vary depending on the destination.
Our products travel with express courier that ensures delivery within 24/72 hours from shipment within the national territory ; for shipments to EU countries, delivery times vary in relation to the place of destination from a minimum of 48 hours to a maximum of 96 hours.
All our products travel inside a container that ensures the correct maintenance of the product.
In order to always deliver a fresh product and taking into account that couriers do not deliver on Saturdays and Sundays, shipments are made on the following days:

It is necessary to indicate an address where there is a person present all day who can collect the package.
If this does not happen, and the courier cannot make the delivery, the responsibility lies exclusively with the customer, who must personally telephone the relevant courier office to arrange the time of any subsequent delivery; or go to the same office to collect the goods, under penalty of loss of the goods, with costs at his/her expense.
Antica Gelateria Matteo reminds you that only in very rare cases, due to the onset of causes of force majeure (for example road accidents, particularly adverse weather conditions, mountain areas or far from cities), delivery occurs within 72/84 hours.
Shipping Contribution
All our shipments are managed with express services, both in Italy and abroad, generally delivery is made the day after shipment in Italy and after two/three days for Europe.
We call it "shipping contribution" because the cost you pay only partially covers the shipping costs, which we try to divide by calculating all the expenses around this service. The contribution is calculated based on weight and by paying it you are insured for any problem that we will always and in any case resolve in your favor.

Many customers often ask us if shipping costs after a certain amount can be free, it depends on the period and the offers of the moment, for company policy we prefer to give a discount rather than shipping and the reason is quite simple. The packaging is very expensive and the products are very bulky.
The shipping cost includes the costs of packaging (cardboard + polystyrene), VAT, administrative costs, any pallet and assistance, we follow all shipments until delivery and for any problem we will always try to solve them in time.
FURTHERMORE, IF FOR ANY REASON THE GOODS ARRIVE DAMAGED, WE WILL SEND THEM BACK TO YOU WITHOUT ANY EXPENSES
For this reason we ask you to understand, but above all to support our philosophy, because buying on our site means mainly Quality, in the product, in the treatment and in the customer service.
We also try to lower the shipping cost by taking on a part of it, what you pay is not the real price, which is much higher, so we consider it a shipping contribution.
